How long do the results last for ?
Depending on the area the improvements can last for up to 2 years and treatments can be repeated .
Because of the instant retraction of the skin improvements can be seen almost instantly, however to see the full results you must wait up to 8 weeks allowing collagen regeneration to take place. Depending of the laxity of the skin some clients may requite more than one treatment to gain the best results – however secondary treatments can not be carried out for 8 weeks .
How many treatments are required?
Individuals respond differently to this treatment and factors such as the existing condition of the skin need to be taken into account. If repeat treatments are desired clients must wait 8 weeks before retreating.

What to expect during the treatment.
Arrive at the clinic with no make up. We suggest taking an anti-histamine (such as benadryl) 30 minutes prior to your appointment to help with swelling and continue to take anti-histamines for 2-3 days following your appointment.
To make the treatment more comfortable a numbing ointment is applied to the area. The procedure will begin when the area is numb. You may feel some heat in the treatment area, which may be uncomfortable and slightly irritating.
The length of your treatment depends on which area being treated – small areas may take only 30 mins – larger areas 120 mins.
After your treatment you will have some swelling and small “dots” that are scabs – this is quite usual. The area will feel tight and warm / hot not dissimilar to mild sun burn. Whilst this is uncomfortable it passes quickly. Swelling is a normal part of the treatment process – the extent will vary from client to client, this swelling will subside in approx 5 days and in many cases sooner.
The healing process takes 3 – 7 days and during this time the scabbing and swelling will resolve. Results are seen instantly after the treatment, although this gradually improves over the course of the following 8 weeks. Essentially there is downtime, but it is considerably less then with surgery.
You will be given an aftercare sheet, it is important that you follow these instructions carefully. This will ensure that your skin heals optimally.
