About your Dermapen treatment

We ask that when you arrive for treatment that you have minimal make up on. After we have completed your consultation we apply a local numbing cream – whilst this is not always necessary it does make your treatment more comfortable.

The cream takes approximately 20 mins to numb the skin. Once this has occurred we will begin your treatment. The treatment itself takes about 30 mins and as your are benefitting from the numbing cream it is relatively painless.

After your Dermapen treatment

Because of the nature of the treatment – some people skin may appear red after the treatment is completed – depending on your skin will depends on how long this will last for. In most cases this lasts for 24 hours – however in some cases it may last longer. We advise that should you plan to have this treatment that you consider other engagements that you may have.
